A product teardown of Google Pay — mapping its flows, users, and competitive position, then drilling into one prioritized opportunity: Maps-integrated metro booking with auto station selection.
An end-to-end teardown of Google Pay: reverse-engineering its core flows, segmenting its users, sizing it against PhonePe, Paytm, and BHIM, and running a SWOT. From there I prioritize a single P0 opportunity — frequent metro commuters must manually look up stations, forcing ~86% to check Google Maps first — and design a Maps-integrated booking flow with auto station selection and landmark-based search. The deck carries it through personas, RICE prioritization, a clickable prototype, success metrics, and a PRD.
